This is a complete MS-DOS 6.22 PC emulated in your browser (v86, WebAssembly) with an NE2000 network card. Its ethernet frames travel over a WebSocket to the lab server and land on the same layer-2 segment as the NetWare 3.12 server NETWARE312, so this machine speaks real IPX to it — no simulation of NetWare, an actual server answering. It boots, loads the NetWare requester and attaches by itself.
Server: NETWARE312 · NetWare 3.12 (50 user) · IPX internal net 6ACB82C4,
wire net 800852 on ETHERNET_802.2 · the QEMU lab machine
dos-client sits on the same segment, so the two DOS boxes can see each other.
Media: your own licensed NetWare 3.12 / MS-DOS 6.22 install media (archive.org preservation
copies) + the Realtek RTL8029 driver diskette. This machine's disk is per-session — reload the
page for a clean PC.
